Still very wet - it has rained pretty much continuously for 36 hours. Poor visibility and strong winds forecast but not felt at the pontoons. We did the washing, reading and embroidery and managed a short walk late in the afternoon. The walk was to an ancient corn drying kiln just outside the town. The second stop was to be the remains of an ancient chapel. However the stream was flowing over and around the footbridge as well as underneath it, so we had to turn back.
The weather looks much better for tomorrow so hopefully we can move on. It's aboout time we did as we have only sailed for 2 days in September!
