Monday 5 September 2011 - Eigg

A fine day to explore another part of the island.  We walked over to the big beaches on the other side and found the Singing Sands which squeak when you kick your feet in them.  We then followed one of the routes in the geology book and found various interesting things, especially the remarkable concretions in the sandstone (and a perfect huge field mushroom (Pam)). See track of the day.
